When love hurts, it’s usually because the love is conditional – I know that sounds harsh, but think about it: The condition is that the person loves with the purpose of having the other person love them back. When they get love back they feel wonderful, when they don’t get love back, they feel awful.
The ego puts conditions on love. But the soul desires to love freely, without conditions, without needing an end result. That’s where pain comes in: The struggle between the ego and soul. But the soul always wins.
Our desire to love is why we’re here. I suggest to anyone who experiences unrequited love to take that love in your heart and send it out to the Universe without attachment. It will be reciprocated by the Law of Attraction. That’s because love is the strongest force in the world and always reciprocated.
You WILL attract love by emitting love, freely, without condition. You may not get the end result you were hoping for, but you may in fact get something better than you ever imagined.
